Dell World, here comes Appsense – for the fifth year in a row! We’ve always made great connections at Dell World with customers, prospects, and Dell personnel. And a few nights with Austin’s bridge bats and live music is a pleasure.

AppSense will be demonstrating our latest DesktopNow software for user environment management, and the tight integration with vWorkspace (not to mention Citrix and VMware View). We’ll be highlighting just how much easier Windows upgrades are with AppSense, where no “BIG BANG” migrations are ever required. Enabling a smooth transition from legacy systems and devices to the new world with full roll back and seamless user experience across physical, virtual, and cloud devices makes everyone’s lives easier – especially important now that Windows 10 is here!

But don’t take our word for it: have a look at NHS Bolton Trust Foundation’s experience. Better yet, come see us at Dell World!

According to Cisco, annual global traffic is set to surpass 1 Zettabyte in 2016. This is 5 times growth in 5 years. How can we ensure that we can continue to analyze the network for management and security purposes without being overwhelmed?

Three strategic options are available:
  • Analyze faster
  • Analyze later
  • Analyze smarter
  • The technology to analyze faster already exists, with 200G packet capture and 100G DPI already demonstrated this year by Napatech. But certain types of network analyses are so demanding they cannot be performed in real-time. The ability to perform analysis later provides the time for these solutions to do what they need to do.

The Napatech Pandion capture-to-disk solution not only enables the ability to analyze later, but also to analyze smarter by allowing only the most relevant data to be captured and retrieved.

In many regards, the Napatech Pandion can be viewed as a network “black box” providing a full and reliable record of what has happened in the network.

Seagate is a proud member of Dell’s Technology Partner Program! Seagate’s Nytro flash accelerator cards are certified by Dell, ensuring that the Nytro cards have met the requirements to perform seamlessly with Dell’s PowerEdge platform.

At Dell World, Seagate is excited to share details about the additional performance tests that were run on this joint solution to identify the parameters that ensure the lowest latency and highest bandwidth for our customers. The end result is high performance that can be achieved in an extremely dense environment utilizing a single server slot, while the remaining slots can then be used for high performance networking and HDDs.
