We aim to treat our Partners equally, whether they buy from distribution or directly from us at Dell. The programme operates on three levels:
Dell Registered Reseller
Registered Reseller status is the entry level of the Dell partnership but is generous in benefits! Through the registration on the PartnerDirect portal, you will then have access to Dell product information, up-to-date news, access to images, campaign assets and case studies, and will be able to register for online training courses thanks to our Partner Learning Center.
Dell Preferred Partner
Preferred Partners are recognised as experts in key Dell product and service areas. To attain this status, they must meet several criteria and complete mandatory training. In exchange, they receive higher levels of support and benefits, including access to our Deal Registration tool*, individual and corporate sales incentives, field-based support and expanded access to Dell marketing materials and programmes.
Preferred Partners can earn even higher rewards & deal support by joining the Storage Competency Programme, providing customers with expertise in Dell Intelligent Data Management, and specifically in PowerVault™, EqualLogic™ and Compellent™ storage solutions.

Dell Authorised Distributor
Authorised Distributors are highly capable in logistics, channel sales and marketing, and technical support for their resellers. They do not sell to end customers and they are typically amongst the top 5 PC distributors in their country or region of operation. In addition, Authorised Distributors have an exemplary credit and payment history and are experts in inventory management. They employ highly skilled sales and product management specialists with effective marketing expertise, maintain a call centre and bid management desk.
Dell Authorised Distributors hold a direct contract with Dell. To qualify as an Authorised Distributor, the company will have the duty to prove that it maintains an appropriate stock level at all times with (typically) monthly stock orders, and provide weekly sales out reports to Dell. An Authorised Distributor will sell to and support at least 20 Dell Registered or Preferred Partners.
